INSTRUCTIONS FOR ELECTRIC INSECT KILLER
Insects such as flies etc. are attracted by light. Our product uses this characteristic to attract flying insects using harmless UV light and kills them by high voltage electric shock.

Use:
1. Before use, ensure that the power plug is connected to a properly installed wall socket that is easily accessible and the supply voltage matches the rating plate.
2. Ensure the power socket used is properly earthed.
3. In order to get the best results, ensure that this product is placed appropriately so that it will have maximum impact against the insects.
4. Once the power supply is switched "On" you should see the tube emitting purple light. This indicates that the product is in operation.
5. It is normal to hear a cracking or zapping sound when insects touch the electrified net.
6. After a period of use, the bottom tray may need cleaning. In order to do this, first please ensure that the power is switched off and the plug is removed from the socket. Ensure that the outer grid is fully discharged to remove any residual charge. This can be done using a screwdriver to short any two grid wires. Please be cautious while doing this and ensure that the screwdriver is held using the insulated handle. Repeat the procedure with the inner grid. Then remove the bottom tray to clean.

4. Before replacing the tube, starter or cleaning the bottom tray, ensure that the power supply is switched off and the plug is removed from the socket. Also, please make sure that the net is fully discharged before touching any parts of the unit.
5. Not suitable for outdoor use.
6. If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
7. Children should be supervised at all times to ensure they do not play with or in any other way try to operate or come into contact with this appliance
